What Deckist stores

Your account email, the decks and cards you create, and your review history: for each answer, the card, the time, the rating, how long the card was on screen, and which of your devices recorded it. That history is what the scheduler runs on. Pictures you add to cards, and the time zone your browser reports, so days and times are counted in yours. If you join the news list, that email address and the page you joined from.

What Deckist does not do

Deckist does not sell your data, does not show advertising, and does not use your card content to train models. Analytics, where used, are aggregate counts and are never tied to the contents of your cards.

Who else handles it

Payments are processed by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe and never reach Deckist's servers, which keep only a customer reference and the state of the subscription. Email that Deckist sends you, such as a password reset, is delivered through Resend. The site is delivered through Netlify, which passes requests on to the server, and page fonts load from Google Fonts. The server runs on hardware High5 Labs operates, and your collection is not shared with anybody else.

Deleting your account

Settings, Delete Account, removes your decks, cards, pictures and review history from the server, signs out every device and cancels the subscription. Anything already downloaded to a device you control stays on that device until you remove the app.
