Deckist is provided by High5 Labs LLC. The apps are free to use. A paid subscription covers syncing between devices, the web client, and following shared decks. The apps themselves are free.
Your decks and cards remain yours. You grant Deckist only the permission needed to store and sync them between your own devices, and to share a deck if you choose to publish one.
Upgrading takes effect immediately and credits the unused part of what you already paid. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Canceling stops the next renewal and leaves access running until the period ends.
